Beater, Paoi
Complete wooden patu aruhe (beater used to prepare fern root). Very worn. Blade is long and narrow with an oval cross-section with parallel sides, tapering to a rounded, but chipped distal end. The neck is narrow with no distinct shoulder, ending with a knob on the proximal end. There are several knots in the wood on blade on bottom side.
