Complete pounamu gouge. The surface is ground with bruising at poll. There are sawing marks down the length of the back, running from the proper left of the poll, to the proper right near the bevel. There is flaking on the front. The bevel is demarked by a straight line. The cutting edge is straight and sharp, with some chipping.
