Adze, Toki
Broken adze (broken at poll end). Pounamu. Dark green, light green. Cross-section is trapezoidal, with front narrower than back. Surface is ground, bruising on proper left front, sawing mark down proper right side. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, sides taper towards poll. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved, chipped on proper left side. At poll end there is a half a drilled hole. Poll is broken off where hole is drilled. "Murdering Beach" written on back.
