Hei tiki
Pounamu/nephrite hei tiki. South Westland source, mid-green kawakawa variety with black inclusions. Head pointed and inclined to left. Both arms resting on thighs with no fingers outlined. Mouth, nose, elbow joints, and breasts indicated. Right eye contains some remnants of red sealing wax. Perforation drilled through back of forehead.
