Adze, Toki
Complete adze Cross-section of blade is rectangular. Cross-section of butt is oval. Surface is ground on blade front and back and sides, bruised on butt front, flaked on back sides and back of butt. Minor differentiation between butt and blade. Sides reduced. Bevel is continuous with blade, and slightly concaved. Cutting edge is sharp and curved.
