Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Cross-section is trapezoidal, with back narrower than front. Surface is ground, with light bruising on poll, and around edges. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, sides taper towards poll. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved, heavily chipped. "Said to have been found at LAKE ELLESMERE" written on front.
