Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Black and dark brown stone. Surface is bruised on the back and butt and ground on the front of the blade. Cross-section is rectangular. Sides of the butt are reduced to form shoulders and front is tapered toward the poll. Bevel is continuous with the blade. Cutting edge has been broken away, but appears to have been ground into a blunt edge. "Henley" inscription. Attached sticker reads "Found at Henley, 1895"
