Adze, Toki
Broken piece of large adze, lower blade and bevel only. Rectangular cross-section. Dark green/brown stone. The surface is bruised, ground and flaked at the cutting edge and the broken end. There is no butt. The bevel is clearly demarcated from the blade by a curved ridge. The bevel is slightly concave and the cutting edge is completely replaced by flake scars.
