Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Asymmetrical trapezoidal cross-section with the back narrower than the front. Grey stone. The surface is flaked and ground on the blade. The surface of the adze is more roughly flaked where the butt is, but otherwise there is no distinction between the butt and the blade. The bevel is smooth and continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is curved and sharp with some chips.
