Adze, Toki
Complete adze, broken in 3 places on the butt and glued back together. Light grey stone. Surface is ground. Cross-section is rectangular. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, with sides and front slightly reduced and tapered toward the poll. Bevel is demarcated by a slight ridge. Cutting edge is straight and sharp but flaked. "Pareora." inscription on back and proper left side.
