Adze, Toki

Complete adze. Dark brown stone. Quadrangular cross-section. The surface is very bruised. There is a mended break on the blade. The butt is differentiated from the blade by an irregular shoulder on the front and a reduction in the stone on the front and sides of the butt. The bevel is demarcated by a line of deep bruising on the blade. The cutting edge is curved and sharp.
