Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Stone. Black and dark grey. Cross-section of blade is rectangular, cross-section of blade is oval. Surface is bruised, except for front blade and bevel. Major differentiation between butt and blade, front heavily reduced forming large shoulder, sides taper towards poll. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp curved, lightly chipped. Titipua Hills Nr. Hedgehope Southland written on front.
