Adze, Toki
Complete adze. The cross section is rectangular. The surface is predominantly ground with some flaking on the proper left side and edges of the back, and on the sides of the butt. There is a small brown pit on the proper right side of the front surface, approximately at the shoulder. There is some light brown speckling around the pit, and in a line from the right of the shoulder down to the centre of the cutting edge. The butt is differentiated by a reduction in the sides from the shoulder to the poll. The bevel is demarcated by a faint line at the chin. The cutting edge is asymmetrical, with the proper right side longer then the proper left side. It is curved and sharp.
