Adze, Toki
Repared, broken adze, butt end remaining. The cross section is rectangular. The surface is flaked, bruised and ground. There has been and oblique break from the poll to approximately 50mm down one face which has been repaired, leaving a visible join. There is a visible join around the centre of the adze, and some exposed adhesive along the join at the back. There is a small, rectangular piece of paper adhered to the either the front or the back. The butt is differentiated by a reduction of either the front of the back, but it is not clear which. The bevel and cutting edge are absent.
