Pendant, He Kura
Broken pounamu/nephrite pendant, large piece missing from one side of the distal end. Has been burnt to a cream/white colour on the distal end; light green and grey on the proximal end. Surface has been ground, but has feather fractures on distal end and across the centre. One side edge is straight and the other is slightly curved. Proximal end is tapered, with a suspension hole drilled from both sides, slightly off-centre due to one side edge being at an angle. Distal edge is rounded and chipped.
