Pendant, He Kura
Large pounamu pendant in bird form. Light green and light blue-grey. Surface is ground with some flaking near the distal end. Small suspension hole at the proximal end, drilled from both sides. Proximal edge is chipped and oblique, representing the head and beak. Elongated neck with straight sides. Curved stomach protrudes on one side edge at a notch below the neck and back is straight and in line with the neck on the other side edge. Projection at the distal end representing tail feathers, notched below the back.
