Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Stone. Mid green.Cross-section is oval. Surface is ground on front, bevel and back of butt. Other surfaces are bruised. Major differentiation between butt and blade, front and sides reduced forming shoulder, sides taper towards poll. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved, small chip on proper left side. Small sticker on back; "383". Pounawea written on front.
