Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Stone. Light green, dark brown. Cross-section of blade is rectangular, cross-section of butt is semi-circular back flattened. Surface of blade is ground, surface of butt is mostly bruised, with ground areas on back and some light flaking at the poll. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, front reduced forming shoulder. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved. Small sticker on back; "382". Pounawea written on front.
