Gouge, Whao
Complete pounamu gouge. The cross section is circular. The surface is ground, with bruising down the blade. There is a crack through the centre of the blade, running from the proper left near the pole, to near the bevel. The bevel is demarcated by a concave wearing. The cutting edge is diagonal, a concave curve and sharp.
