Adze, Toki
Complete unfinished adze. Dark grey stone. Quadrangular cross-section. The surface is mostly ground with bruising on the sides and back, and flaking on the butt. There is a reduction in the stone on the sides of the butt. The bevel is smooth and demarcated by a line of bruising and flake scars. The cutting edge is curved and chipped.
