Adze, Toki

Complete unfinished adze. Grey/brown stone. Quadrangular cross-section. The surface is mostly ground with bruising and flaking. There is a large flake scar on the back of the butt. The sides of the butt taper out slightly towards the poll. There is no other distinction between the butt and the blade. The bevel is smooth and continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is curved and chipped.
