Adze, Toki
Incomplete adze, the cutting edge is broken off. Brown stone. Trapezoidal cross-section with the back narrower than the front. The surface is bruised with flake scars at the break. There is a distinct curved shoulder on the front of the blade and the stone is reduced to form the front of the butt. The bevel is smooth and demarcated from the blade by a straight ridge. The cutting edge and a portion of the front of the lower blade are broken off. There a two small patches of red near the break.
