Adze, Toki
Broken adze, butt remaining. Black and light brown stone. Cross-section is round on the butt and rectangular on the blade. Surface is ground and bruised. Sides of the butt are slightly reduced to form shoulders and front of the butt slopes to the poll. Cutting edge is curved and blunt and appears to have been reground, with a bevel that is continuous with the blade. "Waimera [Waiwera], South" inscription on front.
