Adze, Toki
Complete unfinished adze. Grey stone. Lenticular cross-section. The surface is mostly ground with bruising on the sides and butt, and some flake scars. There is no distinction between the butt and the blade. The sides of the blade taper in from the cutting edge to the poll. The bevel is smooth and continuous with the blade, demarcated only on the proper right side by a small ridge. The cutting edge is sharp, irregular and chipped.
