Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Dark green and black pounamu. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground, with sawing marks on proper left side. No differentiation between butt and blade. Poll has broken off. Blade is curved on the proper right side, with a line running the length of the adze on the front. Bevel is demarcated by a line. Cutting edge is straight and sharp. "Kaiapoi" inscription.
