Complete pounamu adze. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground and bruised. Back of the adze is reduced where the butt meets the blade. Front and back both have a bevel; front bevel is demarcated by a line, back bevel is demarcated by a change in surface. Cutting edge is straight and sharp. "Pelichet Bay" inscription.
