Adze, Toki
Incomplete adze, broken at the poll. Black and green pounamu. The cross-section is quadrangular. The surface is mostly ground with flake scars. There is no distinction between the butt and the blade. The sides of the blade taper from the middle of the blade towards the poll. The bevel is demarcated by an oblique straight ridge. The cutting edge is sharp and irregular, with flake scars on the left and right.
