Chisel, Whao

Broken pounamu chisel, middle of blade remaining. The cross section is rectangular. The surface is ground on the back and bevel, with the front and sides flaking. The sides taper to a point at the poll. The bevel is continuous with the blade. The proper right side of the cutting edge has flaked off. The cutting edge is straight.
