Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Stone. Dark grey, light grey, mid brown. Cross-section is trapezoidal, with back narrower than front, cross-section widens to rectangular towards bevel. Surface is ground, small flake scars on front. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, sides taper towards poll. Bevel is demarcated by a line, cutting edge is sharp and curved. 1932 Te Mokomoko written on back.
