Adze, Toki
Broken adze, cutting edge remaining. The cross section is rectangular. The surface of the sides and the reduced area approaching the cutting edge are ground. The surface approaching the broken edge is flaked and chipped, and possibly bruised. There are fine cracks running along the ground surfaces. The butt is absent. There is no discernible bevel, and it is not clear which is the front side and which is the back. The cutting edge is slightly curved and sharp.
