Gouge, Whao

Complete stone gouge. The cross section is rectangular. The surface is ground with flaking on the front and bevel. There is minor delineation between the poll and cutting edge, with some tapering towards the poll on the proper left and back. The bevel is chipped off. The cutting edge is chipped and blunt. There is a historic break through the centre of the blade, and it has been repaired.
