Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Pounamu. Dark green. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground, some bruising on sides and on bevel. Major differentiation between butt and blade, front reduced forming shoulder, one large lug at poll. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved, lightly chipped.
