Pendant, He Kura
Pakohu/argillite pendant. Dark grey with a ground surface. Wedge in cross section. Proximal end is tapered and has a deep groove and shallower cutting marks for lashing. One side edge is flattened and the other comes to a blunt edge. Distal end is oblique and chipped, with a bevel on one side, indicating that this may have been reworked from an adze.
