Complete adze. Pounamu. Dark green, silver. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground on lower blade, bruised on other surfaces. Sawing mark down proper left side. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, proper right side reduced around mid blade, before flaring and ultimately reducing towards poll. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved, lightly chipped. "Waikouaiti" written on front and back.
