There is no differentiation between the blade and the butt The stone at the lower back of the adze is in the rough shape of a bevel but it ends at a rough flat side rather than a cutting edge. The blade is asymmetrical and unfinished.
Complete Trapezoidal cross-section with back narrower than front. Front of blade is ground with some bruising at right portion of butt. Back of blade is also ground with flake scars around edges and butt. Minor differentiation between butt and blade. Shoulder is slightly pronounced. Visible reduction in stone on the front and sides of butt though. Bevel is continuous on blade. Cutting edge is on an angle and sharp.
Incomplete adze. Quadrangular. Surface is ground with flaking on sides. Butt not present. Bevel is demarcated by a straight line. Cutting edge is sharp, straight and heavily chipped.
Incomplete adze. Blade remaining. Plano-convex, front flattened. Surface is ground with bruising on back and flaking on edges. Butt not present. Bevel is continuous with blade. Cutting edge is smooth, sharp and rounded.
