Complete mutu (bird snare) made from a single piece of dark brown wood. Perch has a figure carved facing the proximal end, with four-fingered hands resting on stomach and feet together. Eyebrows, nose, and pointed mouth indicated on head. A rounded knob projects from the perch and one end curves upward. The handle is straight, with another face carved into the butt; the eyes are depicted by a perforation. Two pieces of vine are curved through perforations at the butt and below the abdomen of the figure on the perch; the vine at the butt is also lashed with a fibre cord. A twisted and knotted cord passes through another perforation at the perch figure's forehead.

Complete pukaea. Small lip around proximal end mouthpiece. Sides flare towards distal end, which ends in a gaping bell-like mouth. The pukaea is manufactured from two lengths of carved wood that are fixed together by lengths of fibre. The fibre is set into indentations in the wood, so are flush with the surface. The outer surfaces of the of the mouth are carved, and they come to a point at the distal ends, one of which is significantly chipped. There are teeth-like notches around the internal mouth opening.

Complete pukaea. Large pukaea with circular cross-section, manufactured from two internally hollowed pieces of wood, wrapped nearly from end to end by fibre. Half of the fibre, from the mid-section to the distal end is dyed black. The proximal end is narrow, sides flare to a wide distal end. The distal end has carved, triangular projections around the edge. There are three small metal nails at the distal end where the twine ends.

Kete Muka woven from natural muka (flax fiber). Woven using whatu aho rua (two-pair weft-twining). Cast on using decorative looped whenu in pairs of two. The kaupapa (body) of this kete is decorated with mawhitiwhiti (woven cross stitch) patterns. Frill work woven edge. A piece of muka cord has been looped between stitches along the bottom to add a decorative element.

Kete Muka woven from natural muka (flax fiber). Woven whatu aho rua (two-pair weft-twining). Cast on using decorative looped whenu in pairs of three. The kaupapa (body) of this kete is decorated with mawhitiwhiti (woven cross stitch) patterns. Frill work woven edge. A piece of muka cord has been looped between stitches along the bottom to add a decorative element. Rolled muka cord prepared with the miro (rolling) technique has been introduced as a handle.

Kete. Square in shape. Woven from undyed muka. Fringe attached with double pair twine to front and back of both side edges. Fringe along base formed from warps, with extra weft thread inserted along basal weft row for decorative purposes. Warps held together with double pair twine. Decorated with turquoise and purple fibre circles, which are faded. These are formed by the insertion of two additional coloured weft threads to top and bottom of every 7th weft stitch - undulating effect of each thread forms circle. Top edge frayed badly. No handles.

Complete composite fishhook. Shank is manufactured from a boar tusk. Point is manufactured from an iron nail bent inwards at the base and then straight at the tip. The tip is attached to the point with muka. There is twisted muka at the proximal end of the shank for the line, with a knot at the end.
