letter, 04/05/1934, H D Skinner to Gilbert Archey, Bryant lent piece of greenstone on Feb 10 1910. Now dead and son uplifted it and is sending to another son in Auckland. We offered £15 but if he offers it to you we are prepared to go to £20. In April 1928 we received on loan a block of greenstone being made into a mere I believe abandoned by Buller while traversing Murchison. Now uplifted and we can not make contact. If offered to you please refer back to us.

Recent acquisitions are a moa bone fish hook excavated by Teviotdale at little Papanui and a feather box with 70 huia feathers found in a rock cleft in Central Otago.
