letter, 08/10/1935, H D Skinner to Kingsley Roth, District Commissioner, Fiji, Advises on best times to visit New Zealand and discusses collections of Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin museums. Notes that Auckland Museum is beautiful and has a "strong Fijian section." Reflects that Otago has a very good Melanesian and Cook Island collection but regrets that there is lack of space to display these.
