letter, 09/11/1935, H.D. Skinner to Norman Potts, Skinner thanks Potts for the needles and asks to keep them on loan to put on exhibit, returning them the next year. Skinner explains that one of the needles was made from human bone while the rest was made from bird bone. Skinner explains he had never seen bird bone needles curve like the ones in question did.
