letter, 23/03/1935 to Dr F.A.Bett, Thanks for photographs, glad to have portrait of Maoris - sending to Auckland to try and get them identified. Drawings of canoe carvings are especially fine. Three are in the museum. Will help identify Taranaki Maori bow and stern design.
