letter, 22/11/1935, Clarence R Waghorn, Charlton to, Casket was found on 17/5/1935 in a cave between Little Akatoa and Okains. I removed stones from the cave mouth and a skull rolled out. Inside I saw what looked like red tiles and proved the be a collapsed casket . The pendant and some teeth were found in the dust. I sent the casket to Professor Speight and he says Judge Harvey was going to make an order it be handed over to the museum
