letter, 07/01/1954, H.D. Skinner to Dr Beyer, Have settled down into working again. Thanks Beyer and his associates for one of the most notable sections of his life, mentions something about it being the best of all his ethnographic memories. Speaks on the great success of the section at the congress being due to Beyer's organisation and the cooperation of his associates. Had not seen any of the New Zealand delegation, looks forward to seeing most of them at Wellington next week. There will be a scientific address by the Duke of Edinburgh, he also looks forward to hearing from Roger Duff on what arrangements were made regarding the neolithic manual of New Zealand and what Maori material we shall send. Will be posting a letter and a book for Charles which Skinner would be grateful if Beyer could readdress, he is also posting Beyer the transcript of his Congress talk as well as 12 drawings or so.
