letter, 22/07/1935 to C.L.Willes, Launceston, Received nephrite adze. Proposes to make line drawings and publish in Journal of Polynesian Society. Discussion of origins, suggest not Polynesian but from New Caledonia. Maybe came with first Tasmanian settlers from New Caledonia. Will return when drawings complete, suggest it should be in a museum in Tasmania.
