letter, 28/10/1936 to D.J. Mahony, National Museum, Melbourne, Greenstone tiki from Murdering Beach, can it be secured by exchange? Same site ("our home paddock") produced upwards of 25 tiki, only one of which has stayed in museum. Majority of cases and records of location are lost and tiki remain unhonoured in British and European museums. Can exchange with a better tiki with no location information.
