Tūhura Otago Museum is thrilled to collaborate with the iD Fashion Week in presenting a captivating exhibition of the 2025 iD International Emerging Designer Awards finalists. Running from 25 February to 2 April, the exhibition is located in the Beautiful Science Gallery, where visitors can experience these innovative fashion creations through striking large-scale digital projections.

The exhibition highlights the incredible work of both local and international designers, offering a unique opportunity to see the future of fashion up close. Visitors are also invited to cast their vote for the Otago Polytechnic People's Choice Award, with the winner to be announced at the iD Dunedin Fashion Show on 4 April.

iD Event Manager Victoria Muir expressed her excitement about the public's involvement in the exhibition: "We're thrilled to give the general public a sneak peek at this year's emerging designers. It's a fantastic opportunity for visitors to not only experience the incredible creativity on display but also to have a say in the People's Choice Award. We can't wait to see which designs capture the public's imagination."

Annah Taggot, Senior Designer at Tūhura Otago Museum, has worked closely on the exhibition's design and display. She reflected on the exceptional quality of this year's designers: "Each of the international and local designers this year has a distinct and clear identity. I think this exhibition truly stands out, with some fascinating themes and concepts coming through. While I have my own personal favourites, I'm staying impartial to ensure the public can vote freely and without influence."

The exhibition is free to attend and offers a fantastic chance for fashion enthusiasts and the general public to explore the innovative and inspiring works of the next generation of designers.
