LEGO Robotics Workshop: FIRST LEGO League Future Edition

Come and explore this new robotics tool in a fun, interactive workshop with Harrison and Adam, members of the award-winning US robotics team Wolfpack Machina.

In August 2025, Harrison and Adam taught robotics workshops at Tūhura Otago Museum, which resulted in nine new FIRST LEGO League (FLL) teams starting. One of these teams won the FIRST LEGO League New Zealand Championship and then went on to represent New Zealand at the World Championship in the United States in April 2026.

The workshop is open to participants ages nine and up. Participants under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Note:

• The same workshop is being offered on Friday 16 July.

• FLL New Zealand is happy to waive the FLL team fee and game set fee for new teams registering for the FLL Future Edition. Teams must, however, purchase their own LEGO Computer Science and AI kits.
