Taoka Maori
Complete chisel. Plano-convex with back flattened. The surface is ground and has a piece taken out the top of the butt. A few chips on the blade. No distinction between the blade and the butt. No distinction between the blade and the butt.
Complete pounamu gouge. The surface is ground with natural flaking at the poll. The bevel is continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is straight and chipped on the proper right.
Complete sinker with shallow transverse groove. Flattened on one end, the other end is smaller.
Mostly complete slate stone knife, fragment of one side of cutting edge broken off. One side is flat, partially bruised and partially ground. The other side is convex and is entirely ground. It is rounded at the handheld end.
Complete bone point, manufactured from hollow bone. Pointed at both ends, but one end is chipped.
Antiquities
Piece of worked wood, use unknown. Oblong rod shape, circular in cross-section. Both ends have roughly cut grooves consisting of prominent chisel marks around the perimeter, creating knobs. Surface is cracked with insect holes and natural knots.
