Sandstone file. Cross-section is rectangular. One end comes to a point, the other end is rounded.

Complete silcrete blade. Light grey in colour. Proper right lateral margin is reduced at mid-blade.

Split silcrete blade, proper left lateral margin remaining. Dark grey in colour.

Broken rough adze, blade portion remaining. Surface is bruised and flaked. Cross-section is oval.

Complete roughout. Cross-section is semi-circular, with front flattened. Surface is flaked and bruised.

Roughout. Stone. Light grey, mid grey, silver. Cross-section is oval. Surface is flaked. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, poll reduced on proper right. No discernible work on bevel. Cutting is blunt and curved, unfinished.

Complete hafted adze Cross section is circular. Surface is ground. Butt not visible due to binding which connects adze to haft. Bevel is demarcated by a line and is concaved. Cutting edge is sharp and curved. Hafted adze. Adze is connected to a simple, light brown, wooden, straight haft. "Purakanui" written on the blade

Broken chisel, portion of lower blade not present. Stone. Black. Cross-section is asymmetrical. Surface is partially ground, with flaking. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, sides taper to a pointed poll. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved, proper right side not present. "Shag River" written on front.

Broken pounamu chisel, distal end remaining. Light green in colour. Surface is ground with some sawing marks. Cutting edge is chipped.

Complete adze. Pounamu. Mid green, light green, mid brown. Cross-section is trapezoidal, with front narrower than back. Surface is ground, bruising on proper left and poll. Sawing mark down proper left side. Undifferentiated between butt and blade. Bevel is demarcated by a line, cutting edge is sharp and curved. "Murdering B" written on front.

Complete pounamu gouge. The cross section is circular. The surface is ground with flaking at the poll and on the front and back of the butt. The bevel is demarked by a straight line. The cutting edge is curved and sharp.

Broken or incomplete adze, cutting edge not present. Cross-section is trapezoidal, with back narrower than front. Surface is flaked with some grounding. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, sides taper towards poll. Bevel is demarcated by a flake scar, cutting edge is broken.
