Taoka Maori, Archaeology
Piece of worked wood, use unknown. Elongated and slightly tapered at one end, with a curved scoop-like feature at the tapered end. Surface is burnt and dessicated.
Piece of worked wood, use unknown. Roughly square in shape and in cross-section. One half of the surface is burnt. Severely dessicated, with sand and roots in cracks.
Silcrete flake. Light grey and mid grey in colour. Weathering present on dorsal surface. Bifacial retouch on edges.
Almost complete silcrete blade, termination not present. Light grey and mid grey in colour. Unifacial retouch on left lateral margin, dorsal surface.
Complete silcrete blade. Dark grey and mid brown in colour. Split along left lateral margin. Unifacial retouch on right lateral margin, dorsal surface. Cortex present on dorsal surface.
