Complete unfinished adze. Grey stone. Plano-convex cross-section with the front flattened. The surface is bruised, ground and flaked. There is no distinction between the butt and the blade. The sides of the blade taper in from the cutting edge towards the poll. The bevel is demarcated by an irregular line. The cutting edge is straight, sharp and oblique. There is a piece of paper adhered to the back which reads "Centre Island .[illegible]"
